What fresh flowers make nice dried flower arrangements?

Flowers that are good for drying and making arrangement are baby's breath, crocuses, daisies, hyacinths, irises, and daffodils. Black-eyed susans, canturberry bells and roses are also good dried flowers that make a nice arrangement.

The types of flowers that may be dried are many. Some work better than others, and flowers that shed their petals usually don't work as well. Colors do darken when flowers are dried, so if anyone wants to use a dark-colored flower, especially those in the blue, red and purple range, they should know that the color may appear black after the flower has dried. White flowers generally turn tan or cream.
