What are G gauge trains?
By Forinfos - 12/09/2025 - 0 comments
G-gauge trains are large, durable models that are suited to an outdoor setting, such as a backyard or garden. The trains, their tracks and their accessories are designed to endure bright sunlight and inclement weather.
The term "g-gauge" stems from the German word "grob," which means "big." Because the trains are designed for outdoor use, many train enthusiasts refer to the models as garden-gauge trains. Although g-gauge trains are larger than other models, they have a tight turning radius that allows them to operate in the same amount of space that smaller trains use. G-gauge trains also can be operated inside.
