What is GE warranty registration?
By Forinfos - 04/10/2025 - 0 comments
Many new products come with a warranty, or a guarantee that the manufacturer repairs or replaces the product for free if it breaks or proves defective within a certain period of time after purchase. Registering a General Electric product lets GE know who owns that specific item.
When GE knows who owns an item, the company can contact the owner in case of a recall. Registration also verifies ownership easily for repairs or replacement and when filing an insurance claim for theft or other loss of property. The warranty is still good when a product owner does not register the product, however.
