As of 2015, antique maps of the St. John's River are available on WardMaps.com and RareMaps.com. The map on WardMaps.com shows the St. John's River from Jacksonville to Racy Point and is the first edition, published January of 1952 by The U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey.
The map of St. John's River on RareMaps.com reaches from its entrance in Brown's Creek to Jacksonville and is a preliminary chart of that area. The U.S. Coast Survey made the uncolored map in 1856. It covers two sheets of paper that measure 49.5 by 38.5 inches when laid side by side. It is a rare electrotype edition, printed on thick paper and never folded, adding to its unique condition.
