Is there a charge for getting a passport in Minnesota?

Per the State Department, the passport fee for all adults over 16 who apply for a passport book is $110, as of 2015. Depending on the county, applicants may also need to pay an execution fee and fees for optional services, such as faster delivery, passport photos or name changes.

For minors under 16, the passport fee is $80. Applicants can also opt for a passport card in addition to, or instead of, a passport book. A passport card is the size of a wallet and is not valid for air travel. The fees for a passport card are $30 for people over 15 and $15 for children under 16, besides the execution fee and any expedite fee or passport photo fee.
