How do giraffes adapt to their environment?
By Forinfos - 29/12/2025 - 0 comments
Giraffes have adapted to their environment over the years by growing long necks to reach the vegetation found in tall trees where they live. Giraffes have also adapted to their environment by being able to drink 12 gallons of water at one time so that they do not have to worry about finding water holes as often as other animals living in the African wilderness.
Giraffes are also able to get little bits of water from the dew on the leaves that they eat. They have also adapted long, rough and strong tongues that help them deal with the thorns that are on many of the tall plants that they eat.
