Where are Glo-Warm heaters manufactured?

Glo-Warm heaters were manufactured in Bowling Green, Kentucky, prior to 2009 and are currently no longer being produced. Desa LLC, the parent company, filed for bankruptcy in 2009, ceasing production. Glo-Warm heaters are blue flame or infrared-based heating units.

World Marketing of America Inc. currently handles the technical support and replacement of certain Glo-Warm heater parts to satisfy warranties and product liability issues. It also sells a new product line of heaters in lieu of the Glo-Warm brand. Desa LLC has since liquidated all assets to pay off debtors. H.I.G. Capital is the private-equity firm that bought the Desa company.
