What are global stamps?

The global stamp allows consumers to send a 1-ounce letter or standard-sized postcard anywhere around the globe for just one nominal cost. As of September of 2014, the price for a global stamp was $1.10.

The global stamp is a "Forever" stamp, which means that a consumer can use it even years into the future without paying additional cost. The stamps are valid forever, so even if postal prices go up, the stamp will still be usable and the consumer will not pay any additional cost. The stamp bears the words "Global forever" and is a round stamp that is affixed in the upper right-hand corner of the mail piece.
