What is a good Bible verse to say in memory of a beloved family member?

“I thank my God in all my remembrance of you" (Philippians 1:3) and, “For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive" (1 Corinthians 15:22) are appropriate Bible verses to quote in memory of a family member. Both are attributed to the apostle Paul.

“He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved" (Mark 16:16) is another verse that is suitable for recitation at a funeral or memorial service. Some additional verses are available in other gospels, such as John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
