Good Disney costumes for adults include Maleficent from "Sleeping Beauty," Peter Pan's shadow and Cruella de Vil from "101 Dalmatians." Maleficent's costume requires black clothes and horns that can be made with wire, cardboard and leather remnants. Wire the collar of the black gown to stand up.

Peter Pan's shadow requires a black morphsuit covered with a black jagged-cut felt tunic. Top it off with a Peter Pan felt hat and a black feather.

A Cruella de Vil costume is attained by wearing a dalmatian-print coat over a black dress, and a wild white wig. Black hose, high heels and elbow-length gloves complete the costume.
