What are some good examples of college-level journal entries?

One example of a college-level journal entry is: "Smithville Middle School is a relatively new school, located on the edge of a small, rapidly growing community in West Central Illinois." Another is: "As I’ve described it in my first journal entry, Rushmore is a small, friendly kind of elementary school."

All journal entries have descriptions, analyses and interpretations. The description is meant to describe the activities, settings and people present to create a clear mental picture; the analysis examines the events to better understand the situation regarding roles and opportunities; and the interpretation analyzes goals, values and accomplishments of those in the situations.
