What is a good way to apply peel and stick stainless steel?

To apply stainless steel contact paper, first clean the appliance surface and cut the contact paper sheet large enough to cover the appliance. Remove about an inch of the backing paper from the top of the sheet, line up with the top of the appliance and smooth it down.

Peel the contact paper backing down while smoothing the sheet and ensuring that it remains straight. The contact paper may be moistened with water to make it easier to handle. Remove any air bubbles with a squeegee or soft cloth. Pierce any remaining air bubbles with a pin. Cut around any areas, such as ice dispensers, that should not be covered by the paper.

The contact paper can be easily removed if it is improperly applied.
