What are some good Wisconsin air-cooled engines?

The V465E and the W4-1770E are good air-cooled engines by Wisconsin. Both are four-cylinder industrial engines that are capable of coping with heavy use. As of 2015, Continental Engines has both of the Wisconsin engines for sale. The engines consume 20 percent less fuel than the previous models.

The Wisconsin V465E is a gasoline-powered engine that can produce up to 65 horsepower. Designed as a V-block configuration, the engine features a forged steel crankshaft, a heavy-duty cast-iron block and a three-way catalytic converter. In comparison, the W4-1770E produces 37 horsepower at 3000 rpm. It is also gasoline-powered and features on-board diagnostics tools, hardened valves and forged crankshafts.
