What are some good wood building kits for kids?

Some good wood-building kits for kids include a truck catapult kit and a candy maze kit. Both of these kits are made by Red Toolbox Junior.

The candy maze wood kit comes with all the pieces of wood, nails, sandpaper, stickers and other items needed to put it together. This kit can be made by children as young as 5 years old. When completed, the child adds candy to the maze and turns the handle to watch candy come out.

With the truck catapult kit, youngsters build a truck with a working catapult from a complete kit. The kit includes pictorial instructions for the youngest users. When completed, the catapult fires small objects from the truck during play.
