What is Google Apps?
By Forinfos - 14/06/2025 - 0 comments
Google Apps is a collection of services created by Google for use by businesses, schools and individual users. Google Apps allows its clients to administer these services through their own domains, rather than directly through Google.
With web applications for email, word processing, spreadsheets, presentations and more, Google Apps provides functionality similar to many office suites. The foundation for Google Apps began in February 2006 when Google launched "Gmail For Your Domain," which allowed Google's Gmail email service to be used with a custom domain name.
In July 2012, Google announced that it had 425 million Gmail users and 5 million businesses using Google Apps.
