What is GTA 5?

GTA 5, or Grand Theft Auto V, is an action-adventure, open-world video game that was released in September 2013 for the Microsoft Xbox 360 and Sony PlayStation 3 video game consoles. Rockstar North developed the game while parent company Rockstar Games released it.

GTA 5 purports to feature improved facial animation, vocal performances and longer draw distance compared to the previous versions. GTA 5 is also available to play on Microsoft Windows PCs. The game is a single-player story that follows criminals around town while under constant pressure from government agencies. GTA 5 can be played from a third-person or first-person view.
