Who is Hades in "God of War"?

Hades is the god of the underworld and a major antagonist in the third installment of the game. He is also the brother of the gods Zeus and Poseidon, and he is a son of the Titans Cronus and Rhea.
While Hades in "God of War" has a variety of abilities at his disposal, such as necromancy, regeneration and shape-shifting, he is still only the third-strongest god in the game. His brothers Zeus and Poseidon are stronger than Hades, though it is unclear who is the stronger of the two brothers. As of 2014, Hades is currently deceased within the game's lore.
