Who makes Haier refrigerators?

Haier refrigerators are manufactured by Haier America, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Chinese multinational company Haier Group. According to Haier Group, Haier America assembles refrigerators at the Haier America Industrial Park located in Camden, S.C.

The Haier America Industrial Park opened in March 2000 and employs over 200 local residents of Camden, S.C. In 2002, Haier America was granted the Job Creating Award by the South Carolina Government. According to Appliance Magazine, the refrigerator plant is divided into two segments: the door line and the cabinet line. The two lines meet at final assembly, from which the product goes onto testing, packaging and shipping to American retailers.
