A number of styles exist that can suit a round face, according to Allure magazine. These styles include mixed-length layers, angled bangs, a tapered pixie, side-swept bangs, the voluminous “lob” and long “barely there” layers.

Mixed-length layers make round faces look shorter. Stylist Andy Lecompte tells Allure readers to frame the face with layers. Angled bangs accentuate the eyes on a round face. A tapered pixie style, with softness around the ears, defines a round face. Side-swept bangs, when combined with a side part, Lecompte says, thins the face. A voluminous “lob,” Lecompte says, is a retro style that balances the face and angles the jaw. Lastly, lengthy and light layers make the face appear longer.
