Honey magazine was merged into 19 magazine in 1986 due to a drop in sales. After 36 years of publishing, 19 was discontinued by IPC Media in 2004.
The last issue of Honey was the issue published in September 1986, which looked back on the best moments of the 20-year run of the magazine. In 1964, Honey replaced Woman & Beauty and featured articles about women's fashion. It was regarded as the first fashion magazine especially targeted towards teenagers. In the first six months of 1980, 214,349 issues were sold, but two years later, sales for the same period had fallen to 158,438.
