Can you get a refund for LeanSpa supplements?

All customers that bought LeanSpa products as a result of the company's deceptive marketing are eligible for a refund, notes Top Class Actions. As of 2014, LeanSpa had agreed to pay up to $7 million in refunds to customers.

The Federal Trade Commission hired Trust Consulting to manage all the claims made by customers, notes FTC. The FTC closed LeanSpa in 2011 following the use of fake news websites to market the products. The company also made false weight-loss claims to attract customers. Additionally, LeanSpa lured customers by asking them to pay a nominal fee for handling and shipping to receive free trials of the products.
