Are some hemp oils better at treating cancer than others?

As of 2015, there is no credible or reliable evidence that hemp oil of any kind is an effective treatment for any type of cancer, according to the Canadian Cancer Society. However, further research in this area is ongoing.

Cannabis products can still be useful for improving the well-being of cancer patients by treating some symptoms of cancer and the side effects of treatment. Cannabinoids can effectively relieve the nausea and vomiting experienced by patients undergoing chemotherapy, states the American Cancer Society. Further, patients with advanced cancers may suffer from significant pain and may find relief in cannabis products, explains the Canadian Cancer Society.
