As of March 2015, the highest bid at the latest Barrett-Jackson auction, held in Scottsdale, Arizona in January 2015, was $5.1 million for a 1966 Shelby Cobra 427 Super Snake. The second-highest bid at the auction was $4 million for a 1950 GM Futurliner Parade of Progress Tour Bus.

The Futurliner also raised an additional $650,000 in donation pledges. It was donated by a Vietnam veteran as a charity piece for the Armed Forces Foundation. The second most expensive charity auction car was a Ford Shelby GT350R VIN #001 Coupe, which raised $1 million for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
