Some of the most acidic foods are vinegar and lemon juice, notes Clemson University. They contain acetic acid and citric acid, respectively. The pH of vinegar is 2.9, and the pH of lemon juice is 2.3. Sodas, fruits and berries are also highly acidic foods.

Sodas, specifically colas, are also very acidic due to their phosphoric acid contents, explains LiveScience. One study found Coca-Cola and Pepsi to have pH values close to 2.5, almost as acidic as lemon juice. Other highly acidic foods include limes, with a pH of 1.8 to 2.0, and cranberries, with a pH of 2.3 to 2.5, according to the Food and Drug Administration. The lower the pH, the more acidic the substance.
