Samsung's NX series of gas ranges is represented on the list of the best ranges reviewed by Consumer Reports in 2014. Three models were selected as the website's best picks, including the full-featured NX58H9500WS and NX58F5700WS models and the budget-conscious NX58F5500SS.

The large NX58H9500WS gas range from Samsung features a large oven, a warming drawer and five top burners that warm to temperature much more quickly than burners on competing ranges. Its performance on baking, broiling and self-cleaning tasks was considered best-of-class. The Samsung NX58F5700WS model features much of the same performance in a slightly smaller and less expensive package.
