Benjamin Moore is the highest rated brand of interior paint, according to the 2014 paint satisfaction study by J.D. Power. The Sherwin-Williams Co. rated highest for exterior paints, while Behr was rated second in exterior paint and third in interior paint.

Benjamin Moore paints score well across all areas of the satisfaction survey: application, design guides, durability, price, product offerings and warranty/guarantee. The company has ranked the highest in the yearly customer satisfaction survey for four years.

Sherwin-Williams scored above all other brands of exterior paint in all surveyed categories and was also awarded second place for its line of interior paint.
