As of September 2015, the History Channel plays a number of history shows, including "I love the 1880s" and "Last Days of the Nazis." Another historical show is "America: The History of Us."
"America: The History of Us" chronicles some of the most important events throughout US history. Some episodes in the series include "Rebels," about the lead-up to the Civil War; "Cities," about the beginning of urbanization in the US; and "World War II," that documents the bombing of Pearl Harbor and its impact of America.
"I love the 1880s" is a comedic series about the people and events of the late 1800s. Some episodes include "The Nerds Who Built America" and "Heroes and Villains."
