Obama was an occasional to regular smoker until two years after his first term began in 2009. He decided to kick the habit to focus on a healthier lifestyle. The 2014 report on his physical mentions that he is eating a healthy diet, exercising regularly and consuming alcohol moderate. Obama has admitted in previous interviews that, as a teenager, he occasionally smoked marijuana.
