Cowan's Auctions is an art auction house based in Cincinnati, Ohio. Wes Cowan, one of the owners, is a regular appraiser on the PBS programs "Antiques Roadshow" and "History Detectives."
Cowan's Auctions specializes in fine art, decorative art, American Indian art, antique firearms and historical Americana. Auctions are conducted both live at the Cincinnati sales floor and online, and bidders from around the world take part. Auctions for fine, folk and decorative art take place three times a year. American Indian and Western art auctions take place twice a year. The auction house estimates its annual sales at about $20 million.
