What is four-card poker?

Four-card poker is a relatively new variant of three-card poker that is played in casinos. Aside from the obvious difference in number of cards, the player is allowed to raise up to three times his ante.

Players can choose to bet "ante" or "aces up." Each player receives five cards, and the dealer receives six, with only one face up. If the player has chosen the ante bet, he must then choose to fold or raise. Players must raise one to three times the initial ante and then discard one of their cards. The dealer then selects his best four cards. Bonuses may be paid to players for a three of a kind.
