What is a TGB Dual?

The TGB Dual is the name of a Gameboy emulator made noteworthy by its link cable support through TCP/IP. This means that emulator users can play with two or more computers as though they had two Gameboys linked via a link cable.

Emulators allow users to play console games on their PC by emulating the software found on many consoles. Users can download games, called ROMs, and then use the emulator to play them. However, it should be noted that the distribution of ROMS is currently illegal under the Berne Convention of 1886 unless the original copyright of the game has expired or the user already owns a legal copy of the game and uses the ROM for backup purposes.
