The wick replacement for the Essick D46 720 Air Humidifier is the 1040 Super Wick. The unit uses two wicks. The owner’s manual and a complete list of parts are posted on the Essick Air website.

The 1040 Super Wick is an evaporative humidifier wick measuring 9 inches by 9 inches by 1.5 inches and weighing 8 ounces. The product consists of a black, plastic frame containing a filter made of white, antimicrobial paper. It can be purchased directly from the Essick Air website in packages of one, three or four. The 1040 Super Wick is also available at retail outlets such as Mills Fleet Farm and Ace Hardware.
