What are some home remedies for repelling rabbits?

Homemade odor and taste barriers made of onions, garlic cloves, red chili pepper or broken eggs are effective ways to repel rabbits. Because of their enhanced sense of smell, rabbits are repelled by these strong odors. Alternatively, spread used cat litter around gardens and entrances, as rabbits fear feline predators.

Make a repellent spray by mixing dishwashing liquid, water, crushed garlic and hot pepper sauce, and spray it liberally on surfaces that rabbits frequent. Other taste barriers include mint, vinegar, vodka and ground peppers mixed with water. Spray these barriers on access points and around gardens, reapplying after every rain.
