Honey can help get rid of pimples because it kills the bacteria that causes acne. It also releases hydrogen peroxide when mixed with water.

Any type of honey will work for getting rid of acne, but Manuka honey is among the best, according to WebMD. If Manuka honey is not available, use unpasteurized, unprocessed honey.

Step 1: Mix

Mix a dollop of honey the size of a quarter with a few drops of water.

Step 2: Massage

Use fingertips to gently massage the honey on top of the affected area, as well as the rest of the face. Leave it there for 10 minutes.

Step 3: Rinse

Rinse the honey off with clear, lukewarm water.
