The Hub Lions Club is located in Lubbock, Texas. The club meets twice a month and represents District 2-T2 of Lions Club International, the world's largest service club organization.

Lions Club International was founded in 1917 by Chicago businessman Melvin Jones, with the mission of encouraging volunteerism in communities. By the 1960's, the Lions Club had expanded abroad to Europe and Asia. As of 2015, there are 46,000 clubs with over one million members in 200 countries. Local clubs are organized by district and managed by district governors. Notable Lions Club initiatives include the Leo Program for youth and the SightFirst program for treating and preventing blindness.
