By Forinfos - 13/02/2025 - 0 comments
Morton's fine sea salt contains only salt. A 1/4 teaspoon of Morton's fine sea salt contains 560 milligrams of sodium, or 23 percent of the recommended daily value. Morton's fine and coarse sea salt is harvested from the Mediterranean Sea, and its all-purpose sea salt is harvested from the Pacific Ocean.
Fine sea salt is ideal for mixing with foods, such as sauces, marinades and dressings. The fine texture allows it to blend and melt into any dish. Coarse sea salt is better for finishing, as its crunchy texture can enhance the sensory experience with bursts of flavor. It can be sprinkled on meats and baked goods just before eating.
