Do ionic bracelets work?

By Forinfos - 29/04/2026 - 0 comments

There is no scientific evidence that ionic bracelets work. When tested independently, there is no significant difference in performance between subjects wearing an ionic bracelet and subjects wearing a placebo bracelet.

Ionic bracelets are claimed to remove positive ions from the human body, which improves health. Negative ions are beneficial to humans when inhaled, but there is no evidence ionic bracelets provide benefits. A source of energy is required to generate negative ions, which the ionic bracelets don't have. Similar products include magnetic bracelets and hologram bracelets. In Dec. 2010, Power Balance, a maker of hologram bracelets, was forced to state that they had provided misleading information about their product.
