Iverson hair braiding styles are cornrow braids that are arranged in elaborate patterns such as zig-zags and crosses. They are worn by both men and women, generally those with natural African-American hair.

Iverson braids tend to work best with short-to-medium hair lengths. The braids begin at the hairline and lay close to the scalp along the top and sides of the head. Thin braids with very clean lines between them are a hallmark of the Iverson braiding styles. Hair that is left over after the braiding is complete is gathered at the nape of the neck and arranged into hanging braids that start low on the skull and fall down the back of the neck.
