As of September 2015, Jamie Colby is not married. Colby was married to Dr. Marc Wallack, Chief of Surgery at New York City's Metropolitan Hospital, until their divorce in 2011.

Colby and Wallack co-authored the book, "Back to Life After a Heart Crisis: A Doctor and His Wife Share Their 8-Step Cardiac Comeback Plan."

Colby had hosted the Fox Business Network show "Strange Inheritance" since January 2015. She is a news correspondent, accountant, mortgage broker and real estate broker. Colby was admitted to the University of Miami International School of Business at 14 years old. By the age of 22, she had received her B.S. and J.D. in accounting.
