What is a Jenn Air Bronze refrigerator?

"Jenn-Air" is the name brand of the refrigerator, and "bronze" refers to the signature finish, known as Oiled Bronze, that colors most of the appliance. This style is now discontinued.

Jenn-Air also manufactured dishwashers, ovens, and other kitchen appliances in the Oiled Bronze line. The series trademark was a polished bronze finish accented with stainless steel handles and hardware.

Jenn-Air Products Company was founded by Louis J. Jenn in 1947, who later shortened the company's name to Jenn-Air. Originally a manufacturer of industrial and commercial fans, it expanded to kitchen appliances after designing an innovative fan for a cooktop range in 1961. The brand was purchased by Maytag in 1982 and later acquired by its current owner, Whirlpool, in 2006.
