Has Jif recalled its peanut butter?

As of May 2015, there has not been a recent recall of Jif peanut butter. Jif was exempt from the major peanut butter recalls of 2009, 2012 and 2014.

The recall in 2009 stemmed from a processing plant in Georgia. A relatively small amount of brands were affected.

The recall in 2012 was centered on Sunland's plant in New Mexico. The Trader Joe's house brand was affected along with a number of smaller brands.

The 2014 recall was for products made by nSpired Natural Foods, Inc. Certain house brands of Trader Joe's, Safeway, Kroger and Whole Foods peanut butter were recalled along with the MaraNatha and Arrowhead Mills brands.
