John Harbaugh was hired as the head coach of the Baltimore Ravens in 2008. Before coming to the Baltimore Ravens, Harbaugh was an assistant coach in the NFL for the Philadelphia Eagles from 1998 to 2007.

As of 2014, John Harbaugh has coached football at various levels for 30 years. Before joining the NFL as a coach, he coached at the collegiate level at Western Michigan University, the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Cincinnati. Along with a Super Bowl victory for the Baltimore Ravens in 2012, Harbaugh has received several coaching accolades, including special teams coach of the year in 2001.
