What are some keyboard shortcuts supported by Windows XP?

Windows XP supports keyboard shortcuts like CTRL+C, ALT+F4, Windows Key+D and Windows Key+E. These shortcuts are not critical for using a Windows XP computer, but they are helpful during everyday activities.
Highlighting a piece of text or selecting a file, folder or group of files and then pressing the CTRL and C keys copies the selection. Using the ALT and F4 keys together is a quick way to shut down a program, since the shortcut closes the active window or program. Pressing the Windows Key and the D key minimizes all open programs to the taskbar, revealing the desktop. The Windows Key and E key pressed together opens the Windows Explorer program.
