What Kik message signs tell you if you're connected?

The Kik message signs that indicate a successful connection are S, D and R. S shows that the Kik server has received the message, D indicates that Kik has delivered the message to the receiver, and R implies that the receiver has opened and read the message.

When there are three dots (...), it means that the app is trying to establish a connection. The dots change to S to show a successful connection. If the dots fail to switch to S, there could be a problem with data or the Wi-Fi connection. A red exclamation mark (!) indicates that there is an error sending the message, so the sender should retry.
