What kind of beverage is Nehi?

Nehi is a soft drink, and it is also referred to as soda or pop. Nehi has been around since 1905 when the Nehi company was first opened in Columbus, Georgia.

As of 2012, Nehi is no longer in production by the Nehi Bottling Company, though the company still distributes RC Cola and several other major brands of soft drinks including Dr. Pepper, Canada Dry, Seven Up, Sunkist, A&W and Country Time. Nehi distributes to a limited region that extends 60 miles north and east of the company's Columbus, Mississippi facility, as well as 15 miles to the south and 20 miles to west.
