What kind of dental insurance plans does United Concordia offer?

United Concordia offers two kinds of dental plans, the Preferred Provider Organization and the Dental Health Maintenance Organization. Both plans are only available to groups.

The PPO plan is available through an employer-funded or voluntary basis. The plan types available include Active PPO, Passive PPO and the UCElect Series. PPO plans are customizable and designed for patients to save plenty of money on dental health costs.

The DMHO plan is only available in selected states. This plan aims to prevent, diagnose and treat dental problems at early stages. Some of the advantages of DMHO plans are the cost-effective comparison to PPO plans, little or no copayment required and lack of deductibles.
