What kind of printer do you need to print card stock?
By Forinfos - 05/02/2026 - 0 comments
A standard printer with rollers that can handle the thickness of card stock will be able to print the medium. Although there are card stock-specific printers, most other units are able to handle paper with the same thickness. The information that states the maximum paper thickness a printer can handle is found inside the owner's manual of the device.
The paper thickness specifications are also located on the underside of a printer's tray. Use these specifications to determine whether the machine can handle printing card stock or thicker papers. If the thickness does not allow thick paper, then the printer will jam.
