What is a kindergarten graduation program?

A kindergarten graduation program is a sequence of events that marks the successful completion of the kindergarten class and transition to the next. It happens at the end of the year and may involve performances by the graduates and delivery of speeches by designated guests, parents and teachers.

Graduating kids may wear gowns and caps during the event. The kids are called out and awarded a diploma individually from their seats at the assembly point. They may sing, perform a short play, recite poems and entertain the guests. Parents are allowed to take photos with their kids and teachers. Refreshments are served at the graduation party.
