Labrador Retrievers typically reach their adult height in 12 to 18 months but continue filling out and gaining muscle until they are 2 years old. Although a puppy is fully grown by the time he is 2, he isn't mentally mature until he is at least 3.
A fully grown male Labrador Retriever is normally about 22 to 24 inches tall at the withers, the tallest part of the back found at the base of the neck above the shoulders, and weighs 60 to 88 pounds. A fully grown female Labrador Retriever is normally about 21 to 23 inches tall and weighs 55 to 70 pounds.
