Lake Blackshear, Lake Allatoona and Lake Lanier are lakes in the state of Georgia. Lake Blackshear is created by the Warwick Dam, and its construction was completed in 1930. The lake is on the Flint River and spans about 20 miles, covering 8,500 acres.

Lake Allatoona is located in northwestern Atlanta. The dam holding the lake was completed in 1949 on the Etowah River. A peninsula between two arms of the lake is home to Red Top Mountain State Park. There are 662 campsites along the lake's banks.

Lake Lanier is named for poet Sidney Lanier. It is a reservoir located on the Chattahoochee River and is a favorite among boaters.
